New York, NY-10/22/14-Little Kids Rock Benefit concert at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Established in 2002, Little Kids Rock is a Naitionally recognized nonprofit organization that has supported over 320,000 K-12 students and music teachers in public schools with donated instruments, curricular resources and training. This year, Joan Jett was honored as "Rocker of the Year" for the impact that her career, influence and music has had on the charity's "Modern Band" music program
