Asbury Jukes guitarist Bobby Bandiera has lent a hand on countless occasions to his fellow Jersey Shore musicians; now, some of those favors are returned. On April 29 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, NJ, "The Hope Concert" raised money for the Rock and Roll Music Fund, to benefit the ongoing care of Bandiera's son, Robert Bandiera Jr, who suffers from a neurological illness. On the bill in addition to Bandiera are Gary U.S. Bonds, Southside Johnny, Jon Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen, with Masters of Ceremonies Big Joe Henry (101.5 FM) and Tim McLoone (Holiday Express). The Hope Concert is being presented by the Rock and Roll Music Fund and Holiday Express.
Proceeds will be disbursed to the Rock and Roll Music Fund, a a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to benefit the ongoing care of Robert Bandiera, Jr
